What if I told you that a large majority of those who are very sick with Lyme disease and many additional chronic diseases are being completely ignored, swept under the rug, and left in the cold to fend for themselves by the public health system? That many who become too sick to work have their life come to a crashing halt and become bedridden and too sick to function, but are told by the public health system they are not actually sick and it is all in their head? It is a sad reality for a countless number of sick Americans.
This is because the majority of cases are so immunosuppressed by the infection that they cannot make the antibodies to test positive on the CDC’s standard diagnostic tests. These sick cases fall in the category known as immune tolerance, which is a state of chronic immunosuppression. The immunosuppression brings little to no inflammation and so scans come back normal. The blood work also comes back normal even though they have a devious infection. Reactivation of latent viruses then becomes a big part of chronic Lyme disease because it is a wrecked immune system.
In my book The Sleeper Agent : The Rise of Lyme Disease, Chronic Illness, and the Great Imitator Antigens of Biological Warfare, I explained the history behind this immune tolerance phenomenon discovered by Erich Traub in 1936, and he had noted that even with a devious, festering infection, little to no antibodies are present, blood work comes back normal, the afflicted even look normal, and it served as the perfect form of stealth, while inducing a tormenting, slow disease resulting in chronic infections, neurodegenerative diseases, and cancers.
It was this immune tolerance phenomenon that Traub had studied for his entire career, and the Western medical establishment chose to ignore the science of immune tolerance as it related to infectious disease, when in 1960 they gave the Nobel Prize for immune tolerance to Peter Medawar and Frank Macfarlane Burnet about the same condition seen in organ transplant recipients, even though they did not work together and were not nominated together by anyone, and the Prize was actually given to them in error. This was clearly done to bury Traub’s findings and to continue promoting an outdated immunology that relies on antibodies and visible inflammation. They largely denied the immunosuppressive outcomes that underlie many terrible chronic diseases, including Lyme disease.
Because the current medical establishment and their outdated paradigms of immunology rely solely on this outdated criterion of antibodies and visible inflammation, many who are the very sickest are totally denied the legitimacy of their illness. They cannot qualify for disability income when they become disabled by the disease and thus, they are left in the cold to fend for themselves, without diagnosis or treatment.
Imagine being so sick you cannot work, yet you cannot qualify for social security disability income (SSDI) because the public health system denies that you are even sick to begin with, because they are using outdated, insufficient diagnostic testing that misses these
immunosuppressive cases and they deny these debilitating chronic diseases are even a disease at all! Many of the sick cannot pay their bills, so many go homeless. Just imagine this kind of scenario happening to a single mom, and yet it is a chilling reality for far too many.
Of all the activism in the Lyme disease arena to change the massive problem of underdiagnosis and the lack of validation for the sick, none have taken on the problem with greater devotion, accuracy, and precision like TruthCures.
TruthCures has been perhaps the one and only organization that has been actively and accurately fighting and taking on this terrible crime properly and scientifically. They have been the only nonprofit organization in Lyme acativism accurately addressing why millions are being swept under the rug and denied validation for even being sick at all. They have been tirelessly addressing the gigantic elephant in the room at the very root of why people cannot test positive and get diagnosed even though they are the sickest cases of all. The work being done by TruthCures has been paramount in lobbying for prosecution and bringing accountability to those involved in perpetuating these terrible crimes, and the TruthCures organization deserves far more support than they have been getting over the years. They have been paramount to this fight.
In fact, if I had not met these wonderful activists and learned the basics of the immune tolerance phenomenon, my book The Sleeper Agent : The Rise of Lyme Disease, Chronic Illness, and the Great Imitator Antigens of Biological Warfare would have never been written with the expertise I developed. It was thanks to the exceptional women at TruthCures that I was able to learn the basics of what my disease was and how this complex phenomenon, immune tolerance, worked. TruthCures takes a practical, direct scientific approach, based on all the science and official data available, and they show exactly what the problem is and why things are the way they are, and who is carrying out these terrible crimes.
I recommend all to head on over to the TruthCures website and show your support for the work being done by them, because they have been relentlessly shedding light on this problem of chronic immunosuppression, which in my book you will come to know by the term immune tolerance. My book gives you the history of immune tolerance and the biological warfare aspects of its history, but TruthCures has been working very hard for many years to take on the public health system directly and the crimes being committed through it that have allowed for so many sick and defenseless patients to get completely denied diagnosis and treatment for a very real and debilitating chronic disease.
While the work done by TruthCures largely stays out of the biological warfare discussion, and for good reason, they are the only ones addressing the mechanisms of the diseases resulting from it. They have taken on the problem from a legal standpoint and from the standpoint of what the public health system is actually responsible for: diagnosing and treating the sick! Yet, because of criminal actions and scientific fraud that has been perpetuated from the early years of Lyme disease up to today, the public health system has been evading their sole responsibility for many decades and causing untold harm to the sick patients all over the United States and even other countries who have followed its model.
TruthCures was started by Laura Hovind is the CEO of TruthCures, whicgh became an official nonprofit 501(C)(3) some years ago to address and shine light on the incompetent diagnostics and scientific fraud perpetuated in our public health system relative to Lyme disease, myalgic encaphalomyelitis/chronic fatigue syndrome (ME/CFS), Gulf War syndrome, and beyond. I have great respect and admiration for her and all the work TruthCures has been doing since they started.

This was the video that got me familiar with the TruthCures organization, and I was blown away at the quality and integrity of their work. I became friends with them after reaching out to them and getting involved in Lyme disease activism for several years.
Because I was taking on the biological warfare side of this problem, I did not become an official member of the TruthCures organization, to keep the integrity of their approach for what it was, because I was driven to take on the biological warfare and biodefense side of it, which is fraught with peril, but I have been friends with them for many years, and it was their approach that inspired me in my own approach to unraveling the biological warfare elements of this story using scientific evidence, testimony, official records, and government documents.
I believe in giving credit where credit is due, and I commend TruthCures for all of their hard work over the many years in bringing to light the medical crimes and scientific fraud that has enabled the brazen public health system to continue neglecting their sole responsibility affecting the lives of many millions. TruthCures has been at the forefront exposing the slick deceptions of these very smooth criminals operating in our public health system who have had no consideration for the sick and defenseless.
